Hello! How's it going with Cut Out Dissection month?
Is your calendar coming in handy?
Are you totally fascinated with the peta2 intern who changed her name to CutoutDissection.com?
I wanted to give a quick mention of something that the organization Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is doing called The Cut Above Awards for Dissection Alternatives. PCRM is giving one middle or high school student and one middle or high school teacher an award. Each recipient wins $2,000, including $1,000 for himself or herself and $1,000 for his or her school!
You can check out details here if you have done a lot to promote alternatives to dissection and want a shot at winning. And for sure, pass the info along to any teachers who you think would be interested.
Enjoy the rest of your day, my friends.
