Music fur cats dogs win celebs Trent Reznor Nine Inch Nails
Hey, all you Nine Inch Nails fans out there! I've got something extra special for you—five signed copies of The Slip!
Yep, that's right, even though he's in the middle of his Lights in the Sky tour, one of my favorite people in the universe, Trent Reznor, is never too busy to help one of his favorite charities, peta2. In fact, Trent's never too busy to help animals.

When he learned that millions of dogs and cats are tortured and killed for their fur in China each year, he narrated an exposé to help us spread the word about what happens to these animals before they're made into clothing and accessories, which are then often mislabeled as other animals and sold all over the world. Thanks to Trent, countless people now know the truth about the fur industry and have sworn off fur for good. You've got to love a guy who uses his powers for good.
He and the rest of the band signed five of the ultra-special limited-edition digipaks for us to give to you, and trust me, it's really hard for me not to keep one for myself...I mean, I would never do that, but it's tempting. Each digipak is numbered and includes a DVD of rehearsal footage of Trent and the boys performing tracks from the album, an exclusive sticker pack, a 24-page booklet, and the CD, of course. Oh, and there are only 250,000 of them in existence. See why it's so tempting?
All you have to do to enter is complete the form below by October 10. If you're one of the fortunate five, you'll be notified by October 14. Good luck!

Posted by: kelly g. at September 18, 2008 6:05 PMOctober 14th is my birthday! That would be one incredible birthday surprise!
I went to the show in Toledo. Trust me, you are going to be blown away! (We got an slightly abbreviated show because the hall wasn't large enough to support all of the gear, but it was still the best show I've ever seen. You'll be lucky enough to see the whole show plus the new goodies that have been promised. Have fun and sing loudly during "Only" for me. :) )

its great to see trent help the animals. i've been a vegetarian for a year now and i'm glad to be helping the animals.
OMG!!! I love NIN. They are my favorite band. *squeals* Oh I really hope I get this CD. It would make my year since I couldn't see them preform live.
Posted by: holly at October 1, 2008 6:49 PMTrent Reznor is from my hometown - Mercer. My mom graduated a year before him and has a yearbook with his junior year picture... I was really glad to find out he's a supporter of animal rights. It's not something that's understood as much in small town America as in some more urban areas. At least, in my town, I don't know too many other advocates. Hope they're out there, though!
Posted by: kaleena at October 2, 2008 5:53 AMi have never been to a concert before!!
and the greatest band ever(NIN) would be perfect!!
I have always loved Trent Reznor. It's an added bonus to know he cares about animals. I believe he is a true poet. A lot of people would take him for granted because of the type of music he plays, but I think he's a genius. His writing is beautiful, sometimes frightening, but always moving. I can quote some of his songs from memory. The only other person I can quote is Ray Bradbury who is a genius too. They are at the top of my list of the best writers of today. I'd love to win this contest! Thanks for the opportunity.
