One of my coworkers is helping to rehabilitate a tiny, magical creature. So I got the pleasure of seeing this the other day as I was walking around the office!
Isn't that ridiculously awesome? Can you guess what animal this is?
The staff here at the PETA office consists of the most compassionate, hard-working, and dedicated people in the world. They'll do whatever it takes when it comes to helping animals. If you haven't considered it, you should look into our internships to see what it's all about.

It looks like a very very small puppy to me, but I honestly have no idea what it could be if it isn't deformed or something like that.

the name magical creature made me think it was one of them lizards that they call dragons or something like that.

Posted by: rachel caldwell at September 16, 2008 5:57 PMI'd say its a.......well definatly a mammel of some sort...perhaps a rodent, a naked mole rat is my best guess, but it varies around something as large as a wombat or as small as a pika, My best guess is a type of species of rodent(i'm a zoologist-in-training as well as an activist, so I might be able to identify this animal by its features {yes, i know, but i'm only 13 for pete's sake >.

Looks like a squirrel... or a mole... or maybe, just maybe even a beaver. Idk, but whatever it is it's just soooo adorable ^_^.
