Looking for a little happiness to start of your week? You're in luck!
Did you guys catch this story about a bunny in Australia?
A couple's home caught on fire during the night and they were able to escape the blaze unharmed because their companion bunny scratched on their bedroom door, alerting them to the fact that there was a fire in a back room of their house. I bet that family feels extremely fortunate to have that bunny!
This is definitely not the first time an animal has saved a person. I hear about dogs saving lives all the time, but pigs do it, too. One of the most amazing stories is about LuLu, a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, who saved her person's life. It's a wonderful story—you gotta read it for yourself.
I ♥ bunnies and pigs.

Aw that is so cute. Animals are so intelligent and kind.
Posted by: Dawn at August 5, 2008 9:28 AMThis is awful that people would abuse animals. I am so with you on Animal Heros! I respect the animals and I feel bad for what they have to go through.
Posted by: Kayla at August 5, 2008 11:02 AMMy dad had a cat when he was younger.
He had a house fire too, and the cat jumped on his bed and woke him up.
Without that cat my dad probably would have died, and i wouldnt have been born.
I love my dad's old cat.
Animals that save lives rock!
Posted by: Rosie at August 5, 2008 2:34 PMI don't understand how people could treat animals so horribly when they can do such amazing things. And to think some peoplee say that animals are stupid, too bad for them the animals IQ is probably higher then theirs lol
