Here's a quick announcement from Martin from peta2 UK. If you email StreetTeam@peta2.com saying you did this by the end of the week, we'll even give you 1,000 points!

Tomorrow morning, the 17th, Burberry is having their Annual General meeting for board members and shareholders. This is an awesome time for us to really let the top guys at Burberry know how we feel about their use of fur.

This is where we need your help. We want you guys to email in to Angela Ahrendts, Burberry CEO, and Christopher Bailey, their chief designer, and urge them to ban fur from their stores. Remember we are genuinely trying to make a difference so make sure you are polite and courteous as you could be saving the lives of animals.

Angela Ahrendts, CEO
Angela.Ahrendts@burberry.com

Christopher Bailey, Chief Designer
Christopher.Bailey@burberry.com

Thanks for helping the animals,

Martin

I only got 500 points for doing this, but that's okay as long as the message gets across!

I'm sorry to hear that Bruce Friedrich was barred from the Burberry AGM, it shows that they're scared of their shareholders learning about the cruelty involved in producing fur.

What will be happening next in the Burberry campaign?

Hi Burberry,

There are alot of people out there who like your clothing and some people who purchase your clothes to make a fashion statement, which is all well and good, except what some people fail to realise is the way in which you treat animals for the fur trade industry. This may be gaining you wealth and a reputation in the fashion industry although to those aware of your inhumane treatment of animals for the good of making a few dollars ... seems well, destructive to your own karma!

You reap what you sew!

I think the people and the companies still dealing and wearing animal fur, knowing all the pain and suffering that it involves, are just CRAP!! nothing else. The rest are just poor ignorants. And everyone get what they deserve...KARMA always work.

AMEN!!!
