I Am Not A Nugget Contest win Free Stuff Friday woof
Everyone is obsessed with our new Woof! campaign lately (and the pig mascot). Can you blame them? So cute!

I'm going to be honest: I miss the Nugget chick. Don't get me wrong, I think the Woof! pig is absolutely adorable, and I truly believe that pigs and dogs deserve the same treatment (if you agree sign this petition), but I'm loyal to my first peta2 love.
I think chickens deserve some attention this summer! So this week we're giving away one of my personal favorites: our 'I Am Not a Nugget' magnet!

This magnet is perfect for your car, locker, or refrigerator! Plus, it reminds people that chickens are not ours to eat. To be one of the three lucky winners, comment below with what kind of animal you think our next campaign should center around! I'm pulling for giraffes. They have been my favorite animal for a long time, and the poor dears are always stuck in zoos.
This contest ends July 25, 2008 and the winner will be chosen and notified by August 1, 2008.
Just so you know...by commenting here, we're taking that as acknowledgment that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy.
Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Go!

I love the "I'm not a nugget" chick !! Though the pig is really really adorable too ;D
For the next campaign I think you could use a super-cute elephant! That way you can protest zoos, and the circus, at the same time, and have one of the most amazing animals as an icon!
They're so lovable, with their big ears :D
I can't help it, I have to suggest a slogan for the imaginary elephant icon *gets out pen and paper and creative thinking skills*
Alright, then of course my mind goes blank. Only thing I could come up with is "Bullhooks? Bullshit!"
Haha :D

Posted by: ashley at July 11, 2008 10:42 AMAw, I love that little chick.:)
I think you guys could do a campaign against fishing.
with a little tuna fish saying "I don't want to pierce my lip, stop hooking me!"
Rats. Not mice - rats. They get a bad rap, yo!
Posted by: kelly g. at July 11, 2008 11:22 AMI think your next campaign should be about cows.
I think they are the cutest farm animal, (and with peta2's talents you guys could easily make it the cutest cartoon animal!) And even though it's the biggest one, I think sometimes we forget about them.
Cows have to endure a lot these days, not only are they being slaughtered but they are being kept in boxes when they are babies so their bones don't grow very big, that is so cruel. Their skin is used for clothing, male cows are used for "entertainment" and lastly, they are being abused and mistreated for their milk. I think people should know more about this, so please make your next campaign about cows!

Posted by: Katie Baltzer at July 11, 2008 11:29 AMI think you should focus on fish next time. People eat them so much and no one considers them to be an animal.
Posted by: klm at July 11, 2008 11:36 AMI think the next campaign should be about monkeys in research labs.
Posted by: Natasha at July 11, 2008 11:42 AMHmm what about greyhounds? They are raised to race all their life. They race till they can't race no more. After awhile all that racing will cause problems such as heart attcaks, or even death.
Posted by: Sam at July 11, 2008 11:44 AMIn light of another horse dying at the Calgary Stampede this week, I think the next campaign should focus on them. Chuckwagon racing and horse races claim horses every year and it's about time they were no longer exploited for entertainment purposes.
Posted by: Amanda at July 11, 2008 11:45 AMWhile I do love Nugget, I think the pig is just as cute as can be!
Having said that, I think the next campaign should feature an adorable baby harp seal. It could focus not only on the cruelty of the seal hunt (and the atrocious inhumanity displayed by so many hunters), but also the dwindling natural habitat of these lovely creatures.
Posted by: Betsy Merrifield at July 11, 2008 11:51 AMCOWS! - Gentle giants, cruelly killed for flesh & skinned for leather. peta2 hasn't done much against leather. We have been taking about fur, meat, animal testing, cats, dogs, chickens & pigs. Now it's time to Mooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Posted by: Amoux at July 11, 2008 12:00 PMI think we should definetly campaign for the Orangutans, ill farming practices for harvesting palm fruit is causing the Sumatran Orangutan population to rapidly disappear, before our eyes! We can be conscious consumers by buying products containing palm oil only from companies who buy from farms that utilise sustainable agriculture instead of the slash and burn technique. And buy Orangutan Os often!!
Besides, how much cuter can you get than this:

Posted by: Erika Weaver at July 11, 2008 12:36 PMHow about PMU mares? And their foals too, of course!
I think the public is more likely to see that the drugs we take are bad for us then that circus acts are cruel. It's like our society has this mental block that circuses are okay. We have always been raised to think animals are our slaves and people don't want to see it other ways. They want to see animals "dancing" or doing tricks. The only time I went to a circus,(when I was like 9), I could plainly see that the animals were unhappy but my grandmother, (she was the one who took me) kept talking about how wonderful it was. I tried to explain why I thought the animals were sad but she didn't get it. It seems very few people get it.
Posted by: Emme at July 11, 2008 12:39 PMThe "I am not a nugget" chick is so supercute! I was thinking for the next animal, you could choose penguins. As animated movies like "Happy Feet" have proved, everyone seems to think penguins are adorable. They could protest keeping animals in glass habitats, and also be out to protect their other feathery friends!
Posted by: Sheridan Taylor at July 11, 2008 12:40 PMI think the next campaign should focus on lambs and sheep, because a lot of people don't know about how awful the wool industry is, so they buy wool without knowing that they're contributing to the suffering of animals.
Posted by: Kim at July 11, 2008 12:47 PMi think we should do somethine not wit just one animal but many....then we would just protest many resturants, places that sell fur,...ect.
Posted by: katie at July 11, 2008 12:55 PMi think we should do somethine not wit just one animal but many....then we would be able to protest many places like: resturants, places that sell fur,...ect.
Posted by: katie at July 11, 2008 12:55 PMI think the next campaign should feature cats.
Whilst it is always good to keep an eye on the way companies behave, and zoos really are a disgrace, the fact is, day to day cruelty to companion animals needs to be looked at too.
If we focus on the cuties in people's homes, it may help people relate to cruelty to animals elsewhere
And, you could have a cartoon of a cat wearing dark glasses and say "Peta 2: cool for cats:!!! Ok - that is poor, but it made me chuckle!!
Ps - if you do feature giraffes, you need to make sure that the cartoon shows their long eyelashes. If you have seen a giraffe up close/seen a picture of their eyes, you will know what I mean!!!!
Posted by: Ms B at July 11, 2008 1:09 PMaw! I love the I Am Not A Nugget chick!
along with the Woof! pig of course!
I am a dog and cat lover 100% and I always have been. I think we should do a pet rights campaign.
The cruel world of puppy mills should be uncovered! Tell people there are so many loving animals in shelters that need homes, pet stores are just advertising and selling cruelty.
Hmm, as for a slogan...
A puppy going "Name Me, Don't Number Me!"
Since puppies are given numbers after their births in the filthy, dark conditions their mothers have to survive in.
Posted by: Casey at July 11, 2008 1:18 PMI agree with the above comments. zoos do not educate, but misinform, and take funds from positive conservation. Animals remain threatened or are even driven to extinction, while precious resources are drained away on expensive, high profile breeding projects. An elephant would be too cute!!
Posted by: wendy at July 11, 2008 2:09 PMFrom the environmentalist here!
How about the Polar Bear? Carbon emissions are melting away their homes. It will reach more than just animal rights peeps! I know it said one but I also was thinking you could focus on the Artic National Wildlife Refuge animals that will be harmed if the off shore drilling ban is lifted. I will be completely devastated if these animals and their habitats are ruined :(. We can't let our nation do this.
I'd say cows. It's sad how people still think we're doing them a favor when we milk them...
Posted by: Otu at July 11, 2008 2:18 PMI think the next animal you guys should use in a campaign should be a dog in referance to a stop smoking ad and how they test on dogs. I'm thinking something to do with packs of dogs vs. packs of cigarettes. kinda catchy right? =)
Posted by: Ashley W. at July 11, 2008 2:30 PMI love both the pig and chick! I love all animals, but one of my favorite animals are cows so please focus your next campaign on cows...Save the Cows!!!
Posted by: Lena at July 11, 2008 2:41 PMPandas.
THey are endagered , and are hunted for their fur. =[
Posted by: amanda at July 11, 2008 2:48 PMWild Horses-the government wants to euthanize whats left of the population. How can you kill an American Icon? Let them be as their name implies..Wild!
Posted by: Carrie Mander at July 11, 2008 3:25 PMEXOTIC CATS BEING KEPT AS PETS FOR ENTERTAINMENT....THEY DESERVE TO LIVE IN A NATURAL HABITAT
Posted by: WENDY HORN at July 11, 2008 3:31 PMI definitely think we should support the Penguins!
Those poor things are always kept in zoos, and they should be out in Antarctica where they have tons of room to do little Penguin things, plus they're just plain adorable!
Honestly, who wouldn't want to hug a penguin?
Plus, penguins are easy for kids to draw, so even kids could get involved!
I agree with Kita. It does seem like we're focusing on farm animals a lot. And even though they're probably treated the worst, we should also focus on those poor zoo animals.

the squirrel. they are cute for a campaign, not much meat, and they are hunted. they generally represent animals to the public because they are common.
Posted by: ron at July 11, 2008 4:29 PMI think you should center your next campaign on horses.
Posted by: Leanne C at July 11, 2008 4:57 PMHow about a Panda?
Posted by: Aldo Mora at July 11, 2008 5:03 PMI think that the next campaign should center around elephants.
They are in zoos, circuses, and are hunted in the wild just so their parts can make odd jewwllery, or furniture.
They are smarter than humans, and are a special treat to see, when if you do go to the zoo.

Polar Bears
Posted by: Gina Stratos at July 11, 2008 5:19 PMHow about dolphins?
Thanks for the giveaway!
Posted by: Dawn Bates at July 11, 2008 5:56 PMI am having a mental image of a little cartoon horse with it's tongue sticking out to protest racing :) But that whole tongue thing is important. How cute? And big eyes. Big eyes with a tongue sticking out. How could anyone be cruel to that, I ask you?
Posted by: Zoe at July 11, 2008 6:08 PMI think it should be based on deers.Alot of people r hunting and mostly deers. They always say its ok 2 kill deers because if they have 2 many it gets over populated, but I think its wrong 2 kill deers. I also hate those ugly deer heads people have in their homes. So, Dear Hunters..Dont kill Deers!!!
Posted by: Hannah at July 11, 2008 6:49 PMit should center around fish. . . tuna or something along those lines
Posted by: Jenny at July 11, 2008 7:04 PMI think we should go and take our protesting against Zoo's.
The Zoo here in Birmingham, Alabama isn't good for any animal.
No room for the Elephants, Rinos, Hippos, Tigers, Lions, Snakes, Goats, Sheeps, Donkeys, Horses, Cows, Zebras, Ducks, Rabbits, and other animals that don't belong in cages!
I think that if any one wants to put an animal in a cage then they should think about what they were doing first!
If the animal was hurt and would never could live in the wild again then I would understand but for you to put it in a cage is just wrong!
If you want any animal in a zoo and it needs in a zoo then give the poor animal the right room it needs!
~Dragon
How about all the exotic cats who people think they can have as pets? I think that's a major issue!
Posted by: Chrystal Davis at July 11, 2008 7:49 PMHow about a bunny wearing make-up,something along the lines of "what do I need to be wearing this for? I'm a natural beauty!" (aka animal product testing)
Posted by: Jasmine at July 11, 2008 8:03 PMsquirrels
I absolutely love that magnet!! Where do we sign up to win?
Posted by: Hollie Ketzler at July 11, 2008 8:22 PMHey!
This is my first time even seeing this site, but you all have some awesome and innovative ideas. This magnet would look pretty sweet on my moped! ;]
i think your next one should be a fish saying im not a fish stick. :)lol
Posted by: brittany at July 11, 2008 8:49 PMCHINCHILLA'S!!! they kill 50 for ONE coat!
Posted by: t at July 11, 2008 9:09 PMWell you guys talk alot about the big animals ( pigs, dogs, cats, chickens) well you should talk about mouses. they are animals too.
Posted by: Claudia at July 11, 2008 9:24 PMFish. Definitely fish. So many people eat fish and don't even realize it was living. I know "vegetarians" who eat fish.
Posted by: Ryan at July 11, 2008 9:53 PMI love his new batman costume!!!
Well, the next campaign should center around the bunnies in laboratories. I really hate animal testing, poor rabbits, they're too cute to suffer that way!
xO:kaяσl wαy cullєи
Posted by: Karol Way Cullen at July 11, 2008 9:55 PMI think the next campaign should be about deers because so many people just shoot them for the fun of it and it's not fair.
Posted by: jasmine at July 11, 2008 10:43 PMi think a baby zebra :D
theyre sooo cute;
and are keeped in horrible zoos
and probuly in some circuses
people also hunt them;
which i hate the most,
because they are such beautiful animals
but more beautiful in the wild being alive, happy, healthy, and with their familys :)
the deer herds
Posted by: susan varney at July 11, 2008 11:03 PMA lamb would be cute.
Posted by: Vicky Pickens at July 11, 2008 11:09 PMI think the next "Spokes Animal" for P.E.T.A shouold be the Seal.
People think it's fun and a game to club them.
http://www.newgrounds.com/seals/
When you go to "set free" your cute little seal, they launch it out of a cannon, and it gets smashed into an iceberg.
Thats twisted, and disgusting.
This disgusting "game" lasts for SEVEN MONTHS in Canada. How would THEY feel if we took huge hammers and smashed them on the head?
Posted by: Ariel at July 12, 2008 2:01 AMWho designs all the Peta2 characters? They're all so cute!
I like Dorine Aileen's idea of a cutsy elephant to promote the circus and zoo campaigns.
I know it probably won't happen but I'd like to see a cute bug character, like a sad looking spider saying "Don't step on me" or a cochineal bug saying "Don't eat me" because many people forget about our insect friends.
Posted by: Little_Lotte at July 12, 2008 4:59 AMThe Polar Bear for sure.
Posted by: Jason at July 12, 2008 11:25 AMI think that a zebra would be good.. :D
Posted by: Alyssa at July 12, 2008 12:04 PMHorses - they are already in the news right now with the recent deaths and injuries in racing. Now would be a perfect time to center a campaign around them!
Posted by: Elizabeth at July 12, 2008 12:46 PMMy two daughters vote for the cows, but I feel even sharks could use our help too...
Posted by: Catherine KingChuparkoff at July 12, 2008 1:25 PMfocus in on any animals affected by logging and clearcuting.
Posted by: Linda at July 12, 2008 1:26 PMI think we should ficus the next campaign on horses. They are overused and underappreciated. People love to ride horses around but who ever said the horses actually LIKE lugging 150 pound humans on their back when they ride? Also, pony rides at carnivals disgust me. The ponies look absolutely miserable. They need help!
Posted by: Marissa at July 12, 2008 2:05 PMI think the next one should be a deer. really it is so nasty the way hunters mount their heads on the wall like a corpse trophy!
Posted by: Ashley Cook at July 12, 2008 2:25 PMI think we should do sothing on cows, and how nice they are!!!
Posted by: Sam at July 12, 2008 2:31 PMthe guinea pig.
for animal testing.
its cute, and appealing to all ages.
I'm going to have to say chickens, particularly egg-laying chickens. People don't realize how dreadful a life they are forced to lead. As soon as I learned what the poor creatures had to go through, I went vegan!
Posted by: Mary at July 12, 2008 2:46 PMi think you should do a cute fluffy baby seal because of the way that people in canada beat them to death before they can celebrate a single birthday. it is creul unfair and it NEEDS to be acnowlaged
Posted by: tay at July 12, 2008 4:06 PMHey! I love the "Woof" pig and think the campaign will definately draw attention!!! For the next campaign, I think we should have a fish that kinda looks like Nemo from"Finding Nemo" and have him saying "Now I'll Never Find My Dad- The Fisherman Killed Him!", and put a sad look on his face.
Posted by: Logan Charles at July 12, 2008 4:27 PMI live in a small town in the midwest & when I tell people I'm a vegetarian, they always ask if I eat fish. What bothers me even more are people who call themselves vegetarians & still eat fish! So I think it would be awesome to do something with a fish that says "I am not a vegetable!"
Posted by: Kiersten at July 12, 2008 4:34 PMI think it should either be around cows, or elephants! Becuase cows produce all our hamburgures, and too many people eat hamburgers, and elephants could be a protest against Zoo's and Circuses! And they are both adorable animals.(:
Love you guysss!
Peta2.com
Foxes, they're adorable and sadly they are hunted for their fur. :'(
Posted by: Ann Coats at July 12, 2008 5:27 PMA lot of people, when i tell them that i am vegetarian, say, "So you still eat fish?" Just because they swim in the sea, rather than walk on land, people think they don't count. And most people that I talk to still believe that fish only have a 30second memory, and that they don't feel the pain of being hooked.
I reckon people need to be better informed in the facts about fish.
Posted by: April at July 12, 2008 6:10 PMokay i read through every single one of these comments. and everything is basically just cute animals that everyone likes in one way or another. but for my animal i would choose a great white shark. ever since the movie jaws came out their have been millions of them killed. the movies and other things betray them to be a mean selfish animal. but by putting a shark will show that they are just normal everyday animals but with a better smell and more confusion. sharks are hunted as, hey look at me im so big and tough i killed a defenseless shark with a gun. or hes going to eat me so i have to kill it. but the most common reason is for food. so if you decide to use a shark it will show the rest of the world that they are just like us. and dont act like how they are betrayed to be. they are one of the most endagered speicies out there. so if this one emblem could stop all the shark hunting. why not give it a chance. and show the public what sharks really are like.
Posted by: dan at July 12, 2008 6:25 PMI would love this cute lil chickie! I've loved it since I joined! I think the next animal should be an ABSOLUTLY ADORABLE lil froggie. they are so cute and disection is everywhere. people need to be aware. or a cat, which iams uses for testing, also because i have 8 and i love them! THNX
Posted by: keely at July 12, 2008 8:02 PMDogs. WOOF!
Posted by: Kathy Mullins at July 12, 2008 8:10 PMChickens. . they are treated to inhumanely!
Posted by: Donna at July 12, 2008 10:29 PMWhat about a whale? They're always talking about using them for oil and what not. They get ignored because they're as cute and cuddly as most animals yet many are getting killed for game all over the world.
Posted by: Ariel at July 12, 2008 10:59 PMI think the next campaign should be centered around leopards/jungle cats! They are an endangered species and with help from PETA would could really stop poachers! Plus they are so adorable, who could resist them? :)
hmm, well naturally I would have to say my favorite animal the goat.
Goats represent independence and free will, unlike their cousins sheep, whom represent obedience and conformity.
Along the lines of a campaign, the central idea could be, "Don't be a sheep, Question Authority".
yesh, I like it.
chipms/monkeys
we could say that they are not ours to play with.
"I am not your toy!"
many people dont realize that they are being treated so inhumanely because the are thinking about the "cute" animlas. and alot of people think its so funny to see monkeys dressed up like humans because they are not humans. but thats the thing. they are NOT human.
RATS and/or MICE!!!!!!!
I myself have a pet mouse, and everyone I know thinks it's disgusting even my teacher! [It's cool though becuase my teacher isn't a real man anyways.(notliterally!) he's a craphead!(: ] They don't get enough credit for how cute they really are. Like my mouse let's me pet her and closes her eyes in relaxation. When she wants to be petted, she'll stick her head between her cage bars and grab my finger with her paws so I won't leave, which means I have to stick my other hand into the cage so she can let go of my finger! I'll love her foreve. (:

Posted by: Kari Follett at July 13, 2008 7:02 AMTurkey, the symbol of thanksgiving.
Posted by: Judith Rachmani at July 13, 2008 9:41 AMi think we should focus on Elephants next because they are VERY commonly found in zoos, circuses, etc. AND even though ivory is illegal now, people still find ways to get it without being caught. Just 5 years ago, my aunt somehow got an ivory bracelet for me. IT SCARED ME TO DEATH! I'm sure these animals are sick of giving rides to people, parading around and doing tricks. We should definitely help them!
Posted by: Tammy Wong at July 13, 2008 10:41 AMGeese should be the next animal. Fois Gras is just a gross food and most people don't know how barbaric is it to create it and how inhumane it is for the geese!
Posted by: Tricia Andrews at July 13, 2008 11:39 AMI love that Peta2 works so hard against animal cruelty, but I have to admit, the focus on farm animals is becoming a little redundant.
I ADORE the nugget chick, and the new pig is WIKKID cute, but what about everything else out there? There are so many other forms of cruelty happening all around us.
Dog fights, horse racing, zoos & circuses, performing animals of all sorts, greyhound racing, cock fights, illegal slaughter of exotic animals for their fur or skin; there are SO many things to choose from, how can someone pick just one?
I would say the next campaign should focus on racing and fighting animals of all sorts. It is too often considered a spectator sport, and most times is illegal. Animals who are injured or reach certain ages are commonly treated cruelly before being "put down" because they are considered useless.
It disgusts me.
Posted by: Krystina at July 13, 2008 11:47 AMI think we should do elephants! They're tortured at the zoo and the circus! I mean the last circus I went to the poor elephants were having sharp hooks jabbed into their feet and mouths, if they didn't want to perform the trick! And then the get carried around in those cages for days on end. I mean honestly that can't be healthy. Then the elephants at the zoo get stuff thrown at them all the time! Just to make them talk. I was horrible when I went to the zoo (when I was little) they had the mommy elephant and the baby elephant seperated. And you could tell the mom was soooo upset!
Posted by: chelcie at July 13, 2008 12:17 PMi remember the elephant man said, i am not a monster!
Posted by: keith james at July 13, 2008 1:59 PMtigers, lions, Cheetahs, and other exotic cats. They are always kept for entertainment or sometimes hunted, and they need to live in their natural habitat where they have room to grow, rome, and play.

Posted by: Juliette Johnson at July 13, 2008 2:53 PMi think your next one should be a seal, or something.
"don't throw trash into my home, you have a trash can for that"
because lots of seals die from all that junk thats thrown into the sea.
:]
also&
the piggys cute :D
Perfect for my vegetarian shopping list!
Posted by: Carolyn at July 13, 2008 5:34 PMI think you should focus on horses (you already kind of do with horseracing an stuff, but still). They are such beautiful, gentle animals and they forgive almost anything, even when they are totally abused :( They get abused lots, not just in racing, but also things like 3-day eventing, reining, and showing, and even just by their ownners! Anyways, wouldn't they make the cutest cartoon animal ever?
Posted by: Sophia at July 13, 2008 7:58 PMMaybe the frogs. The poor things are always getting dissected, and it would be fun to have froggy contests once in a while
Posted by: Sierra at July 13, 2008 9:15 PMchinchillas!

Posted by: judy brittle at July 13, 2008 9:31 PMcan't decide.
Posted by: Vicky Boackle at July 13, 2008 9:31 PMPeta is so awesome, and I think we've fought for so many animals already. Fighting for any animal's rights is important, but since I have to choose, I'll choose stray, abused, and abandoned dogs. Go veg! :-)
Posted by: Carla Spence at July 13, 2008 9:31 PMGreat contest. Good luck to everybody
Posted by: Dale Louderback at July 13, 2008 10:33 PMI think we should take action on elephants. They are in circuses && zoos. Everyone loves elephants unless they don't have a soul and maybe if we better expose the violence && sadness in their lives we could make an even bigger differance. =]
Posted by: at July 13, 2008 11:30 PMI too miss the chick campaign, but I support the new campaigns this year 100%. I really think that the next campaign needs to focus around the horse slave industry. It is time to put an end to treating horses like they are for personal entertainment and start treating them with the respect that they deserve. Get off their backs people, literally. But if you care more about your own need to treat an animal like it is in the circus, at least do the horse a favor and seek therapy :)
Don't contribute to the population of unwanted animals. If you did not love them forever, you did not love them at all.
I think the next character should be a fish.
People don't often realize that fish are animals too, and that eating them doesn't make you a vegetarian.
Fish deserve to be thought of and treated as dogs or cats would.
They feel pain just as much and they want to live just as much.
With love and admiration
Annie
Horses. At the start of their life, they have their spirit broken. They are then ridden on, beaten and wipped as to searve humans in sports such as racing. Then when they cant do sporting events any more, they are killed and turend into glue or dog food. Is that any life for such magnificent animals?
Posted by: Jetson at July 14, 2008 3:58 AMhmm i think it should be horses most def.
Posted by: haley at July 14, 2008 1:48 PMi think koala bears... they're so cute it's easy to get ppl to care about them. the sad truth is the cuter animals, the more people care. think about dolphins getting stuck in tuna nets... no one ever had a protest for the tuna....
Posted by: katie at July 14, 2008 2:20 PMhow about cats and dogs?
Posted by: mildre at July 14, 2008 2:22 PMThis may sound strange but bugs... Little kids think it is fun to step on them and I am always trying to teach my son that they are animals and it is not a nice thing to do!!!
Posted by: Christine at July 14, 2008 3:48 PMI would like to see a bunny campaign. I hate seeing people wearing their fur. But any animals would do. . . they all deserve human help.
p.s.
I love the "i am not a nugget" chick.
rats! no more testing!
Posted by: Jake at July 14, 2008 6:22 PMI think the next mascot should be a PENGUIN because theyre adorable, but its sad that cruel people stick them in small cages for our amusement I mean i went to Pittsburgh Zoo last year and the penguins looked so miserable. And I wish that we could save their enviroment because of Global Warming.I think the penguin should say STOP STARING AT ME I CANT FLY AWAY!!lol. just an idea.
Posted by: shelby godfrey at July 14, 2008 6:28 PMI would like to see a dog campaign, for the dogs in puppy mills who live in horrible conditions!
Posted by: Esther at July 14, 2008 6:53 PMNow is the Time for Cow.I think it should be the cows turn for the next campain. These gentle giants are served up every where. they have the most beautiful eyes and are such loveable animals. On the night time news a while ago they showed how they were over crowded in the slater houses an sick cows that couldn't walk were being pushed across the floor with the forks on a forklift. horrifyingly painful for them i cried to see that. I grew up with cows that would give me hugs. I'd love to see more done about their rights. They are such gentle animals.
Posted by: Danielle at July 14, 2008 10:33 PMI think you should center around "animal experts". Those people we see on TV that bring animals to shows and talk about them and make them stand there on a leash while people ooh and ahh at them. I hate people who do that to animals, what kind of animal wants to be on a leash and be put into a room with tons of unfamiliar people and bright lights and noise...it's time those animals get liberated.
Posted by: at July 14, 2008 10:36 PMI think elephants or tigers
pretty much any circus animals who are used for entertainment and are kept in little cages and things that arent big enough for them to move around
or bulls, used for the running of the bulls who are treated horribly, some get trampled on by other bulls and are ridden by people for fun.
I bet they dont find it fun..
just a thought :]
Posted by: TaeLynne at July 15, 2008 12:14 AMMuscles and lobsters! Shell fishes who get cooked alive or chosen from a tank because they're plump!
how does a live animal look tastey?!
i'm rubbash with slogans though!

Heya, Iv'e been a part of the street team for a long time, and I think we should take action towards zoo animals. We seem to be concentrating on battery chickens and ugly farming and that isn't the only cruelty out there. Lets take action for those lonely, scared, and restricted animals. Who's with me???
xx
