What's up with people who eat flesh? Do you know how strange it is to eat body parts? I mean, people eat ribs, wings, legs, breasts, butts, and all sorts of other stuff. You and your family members have most of those parts! It's so weird that people eat animals' bodies, don't you think?!
Some people apparently get a bit wacky in their quest for flesh and don't stop at the imaginary line between humans and non-human animals. And really, why should they? It's basically just as unethical to cause suffering to another person as it is to a non-human animal. We all want to live our lives in peace, right?
So having said that, there is this report that a lady in a meat market got into a fight with another woman and bit her finger off! Geez, talk about finger foods!
Then a separate story talks about how some dude at Burger King bit off another man's nose after they got into a fight! My guess is that it wasn't over the veggie burger, am I right?
Vegetarians and vegans are so much more kind. I mean, the last time I got into an argument, I think it was probably with Marta about some prank I must've pulled to mess with her computer. And although she may have yelled "Pulin!" in an annoyed tone of voice, I can guarantee you neither of us were throwing punches (or bites). The animal rights community is so pleasant.

I can find tons of instances of vegitarians and animal rights activists hurting humans and getting in fights. People can be assholes no matter what they eat. Just don't be so damn closed minded to other people's choices.

So two people bit the fingers off of each other. Thats only two people out of a world full of billions of people, and many of who eat meat.
I have nothing against vegeterians but for the love of god why dose PETA find every opportunity to make generalizations that aren't even in the realm of proof?

There are plenty of cheap vegetarian and vegan foods out there. http://www.peta2.com/STUFF/s-recipe.asp and http://www.goveg.com/vegetarian101.asp have some more info.
And for everyone who has taken offense to the idea that vegetarians and vegans are kinder... do you think choosing to pay for the enslavement and slaughter of thousands of animals for you to eat in your lifetime is a kind thing? I don't.
Posted by: Pulin at July 16, 2008 11:22 AMi think that this is knid of a broad generalization. i am a meat-eater (but not by choice, i just still live with my close-minded parents.) and my fiancee is a meat eater by choice. vegans and vegetarians can be really mean. i know some vegetarians who are so dead-set at pushing their beliefs on people that they will get physical. there is more to people's personalities than the food they eat.
love all. animals, veg-heads, meat eaters. love all.

i love peta to bits,they helped so much with becoming veggie,but some of these blogs are way too bias,fair enough,get your point across but i think it's a little too far to say that all meat eaters are more violent than vegetarians/vegans.
but yeah,i just showed this kid in my class the picture and they were like "oh,it is kinda weird eating meat,isn't it?" as i siad before,brilliant idea x

Ok, I'm a vegetarian, but seriously PETA? Sometimes I want to smack you. You make us all sound crazy.
Oh and, by the way, I thought we had stopped that whole 'veg eaters are less violent' propaganda thing when, funny story, it turned out that Hitler was one too.
