woof pig Weezer Weezer Pig lyrics
First off, I apologize for the really dorky blog title. Admit it though—you secretly thought it was funny. Anyway, have you heard Weezer's new (Red Album) yet? I downloaded it about a week ago, and my favorite track on the album by far is the bonus song "Pig". To see why it's my favorite, take a look at some of the lyrics...
but now, I've got to die
I've lived a good life I've got no complaints
I'd like to thank farmer keep
for bringin me scraps so for that I could eat
he always had a smile on his face
he didn't want to think of this day
it's finally here...
it's finally here...
oh oh oh
they called me pig
they called me pig
when I was a baby I was so happy
I played with my friends in the mud
I think I love it so much because of the AR-friendly message, and because much of my recent life has been consumed with our new summer campaign Woof! Have you seen it yet? If not, you should. NOW. It's (in my humble opinion) one of our best campaigns yet.
Rumor has it that my all time rock super crush Rivers Cuomo is vegetarian. If anyone can confirm said rumor, let me know!
xoxo,
Lara

and yes Rivers Cuomo is a vegetarian.
Posted by: erika at June 13, 2008 2:11 PMI love Weezer so much. I got excited when I first heard Rivers was vegetarian. That makes me allowed to like him. ;) I voted him for the sexiest vegetarian.
Posted by: Malia at June 13, 2008 10:06 PMAccording to Wikipedia "Cuomo is a vegetarian and a supporter of PETA." :o)
I'm now going to be humming Will Smith's 'Getting Jiggy With It' for the rest of the day...
"nah nah nah nah-nah, getting piggy with it!"
Can anyone dissect the lyrics to "Pork and Beans" - http://www.songmeanings.net/lyric.php?lid=3530822107858715807?
I think it's a song about someone who doesn't care about a thing--who's apathetic to about everything.
Posted by: Eric Silberstein at June 17, 2008 6:04 PMpork & beans isn't about someone who is apathetic to everything. it's a response to the record company from the band when the company wanted them to change up their image. why anyone would think weezer needs a new image is beyond me, but, yea... read the lyrics it'll make sense
Posted by: steph at June 18, 2008 6:16 AMHeyy guys! That's such a cool song... unfortunately instead of that being true and the pig being able to play in the mud it is subjected to a life of moral pain and misery.... I could really learn how to cry being a pig. Good luck with the campaign and PEACE OUT!
