Today is the day that Van's Warped Tour 2008 starts! The lucky kids in Pomona, CA get to experience this crazy music fest before anyone else. Don't have tickets yet? Enter our contest and win two tickets to any stop on the tour!
peta2's own Jason Bayless made a documentary about his experience on Warped Tour 2005. Bayless and his crew (David Bergthold of Blockhead Skateboards and pro skateboarder Laban Pheidias) spent nine weeks traveling around 48 cities being crazy. The result? Wake Up Screaming.
We're celebrating the start of the tour by giving away FIVE copies of this DVD! To win, comment below with why you are so excited to go to Warped Tour this year! I am excited for Warped Tour 2008 because I get to table four shows with peta2! If you're going to be at the VA Beach, DC, Cleveland, or Detroit shows make sure to come say "hi"!

If I did get to go I'd for sure want to hang out with all the peta2 gang and then maybe catch a glimpse/talk to any band members! I think it would be the most awsome time, headbanging and screaming and rocking out without a care. If I get lost in the music, I loose all senses! I'd be awsome probably.

It's encouraging (and proves a lot of adults wrong) to see that other young people care about important causes all over the world. Plus, everyone likes the free stuff.

Posted by: Linda Lansford at June 21, 2008 5:29 PMIm excited for it because i have never gone to warped tour alone without my parents and my mom is going to let me go with just my friends and i get to go in my first mosh pit and crowd surf for the first time and iv gone to so many concerts but my mom and step dad are usually standing by my side guarding me through the whole thing and i want to go to all the merch stands mostly the twloha one and peta.Also i cant wait to meet some bands listen to live music and burn up in the sun and hang out with my friends.

It's absolutely amazing. All of the music, the bands, the people, the organizations, the FREE STUFF... :) Seriously, my best friend and I are STILL talking about how awesome last year was and we've ben making plans for this year since last summer. I LIVE for warped tour.

Oh, and I'm deffinitely stopping by the peta2 booth for both days that I go. Every show I go to that peta2 is at, I ALWAYS stop by the booth and say hi, like Warped and Bamboozle. I can't wait for this year.
Live bands, peta2, and a bunch of sweaty rockers! why wouldn't someone want to go! Sure, it's gonna be on the first day back to school for me but who cares??? I can get in free to go help out at the booth, so I'M DITCHING! Oohhh! i'm a bad boy! whatever.... now on the subject of wake up screaming... last year i went to protest with jason a couple of times at the circus. he was pretty cool, one of the coolest animal rights activists that i've met, though i still havent seen his documentary, it'll probably be good. hope i get it....

One of their CDs got put with my CDs so they got put into my rotation. I eventually got used to them and now they are one of my favorite bands. I can't wait for Warped Tour to get here so I can see them for the first time.
