This week I have a Free Stuff Friday contest for those of you with an insatiable sweet tooth: enter Dr. Lucy's Cookies! All of Dr. Lucy's cookies are free from wheat, gluten, milk, butter, eggs, casein, peanuts and tree nuts. Vegans (especially vegans with food allergies) rejoice!
Seriously, who doesn't love cookies? They look delicious!
One lucky boy or girl will receive a cookie prize pack (which includes a box of Cinnamon Thins and a box of Chocolate Chip and a single serving pack of each flavor they sell). To win, comment below with your favorite vegan dessert!
This contest ends April 18, 2008 and the winner will be chosen and notified by April 25, 2008!

it is so moist and just so goddamn yummy.
she makes it from scratch.
you dont even need to add frosting, cause theres this layer on top of the cake and it tastes like frosting already.
i could eat the hole cake.
my sister is gluten intolerant and it really hard to find stuff that she can eat.
if i win the cookies i'll give them to my sister.
it really hard for her.

Homemad cakes are the best, I have got 2 first places (one of them also a silver platter, the highest honor, for best of fair decorated cake which was made like a smiling black cat face), a second place, and a 3rd place for state fair with cakes!
I am going to make a full vegan chocolate cake this year and decorate it to see what I get!
strawberry sorbet, because I can eat it with my non vegan friends :] & it'd be cool with vegan cookies.

its really good =]
I love the peta recipe for cake, instead of using eggs and milk or any other animal product I could use soda. I get to still enjoy cake and the meateaters doesn't know the difference when I serve it!

My favorite vegan dessert is Alternative Baking Company's Phenomenal Pumpkin Spice Cookie. It's amazing!

They didn't have all of the vegan options back then that they do now so desserts (except for fruit salad) were one of the first things to be eliminated from my diet along with meat, dairy, eggs, and honey. So I gave up desserts and such but thinking about the countless animals that I have spared from torture and slaughter more than makes up for it!!! :)

Immediately I went to our local grocery store and bought a bag of choclate filled double stuffed Oreos and gorged my heart out and then I thought to myself that being vegan wouldn't be so bad after all.

I melt the chocolate in a double boiler and dip fruit in. It's great for parties but I usually make it after a long day because it just makes me so happy! I've never had vegan cookies, but I'd like to try them!

Each time we bake them is an enjoyable, and almost disasterous, experience together. Although we haven't mastered how to get the sugar cookies to fluff up, they're still delicious!
