Girls (NO FUR) Aloud March 6, 2008

The Girls Aloud singer, the gorgeous Sarah Harding, has made her thoughts on fur very plain indeed! "F*** Fur," she exclaimed (we wholeheartedly agree, Sarah!) when she spotted the ugly offending article in London store, "Arrogant Cat" yesterday. "I don't want to be seen wearing that. It's disgusting to wear fur and shouldn't be allowed to be sold in stores," she went on.

Sarah obviously has her head screwed on and is aware unlike some airhead celebrities, that there is no kind way to rip the skin of an animal's back. Fur farming is banned in the UK because of the inherent cruelty involved with the farming and killing of animals for their fur. Every year the fur industry traps, drowns, clubs, gasses, and electrocutes millions of animals, all in the name of greed and vanity. Thank goodness they have people like Sarah looking out for them!
Arrogant Cat needs to take a leaf from Topshop's book and introduce a permanent "no fur" policy.
We love you, Sarah! Here's a big thanks from one arrogant cat who still has his fur!
Thanks, Sarah!!

I've never been a huge fan of Girls Aloud but now I'll tell everyone that they're not so bad because they're against fur :)

I don't like it at all when celebrity's wear fur and use animal products, it's such a bad example.
Posted by: vegveg24 at March 8, 2008 11:06 AMAnimals don't deserve to die for people's selfish means. They have feelings, and obviously the people e.g Beyonce, p.Diddy etc... don't have feelings.
What a bunch of whiners. Yes the methods they use to raise and get fur is deploarable, but people are people and make their own choices. I dont make comments about your choices, please refrain from pushing your views on everyone else.

It's always awesome to see a celebrity speak out for animals like that. They have so much power to change peoples minds and and it's just so rad when they're changing minds for good things like saying no to fur!
Awesome Sarah!
