Posted by Ashleigh | Permalink | Comments ( 222 ) | TrackBack

Easter is just around the corner. Unfortunately, this holiday can be a nightmare for an animal rights activist. Everywhere you turn you see chicken eggs, non-vegan candy, and baby chicks and bunnies for sale! What is a cruelty-free lad or lass to do?

One thing you can do is send our Easter E-card to all your friends!

Another more hunger-satisfying option is to get your hands on one of our "Leaping Bunny" chocolate assortments made especially for PETA by Harbor Candy Shop.

Because it is chocolate... duh?

Because it's tasty, it's nipple-excrement free, scab free, pus free, and not painful for cows. I like cows... cows are my friends!

Also chocolate is not just good for your body (seriously) it's also good for your soul. As long as it's cruelty free. YAY! 8D

Vegan chocolate is the best thing this world has ever seen!

Why?

Because it doesn't harm animals! That's the best reason right there.
Also, it's chocolate...sooo obviously it's some good stuff. (:

Because vegan chocolate has been known to increase lifespan by upto 5 years. but milk chocolate shortens cow's lives by more than half.

Vegan chocolate is the best thing out there. It's good for people who are lactose intolerant, those who are vegan and those who just want to make their way through a cruelty free easter! Not to mention the fact that who doesn't love chocolate? The only thing that can make it better is it being cruelty free!

Vegan chocolate is the best thing this world has ever seen because it's absolutely delicious and cruelty free. When you eat vegan chocolates you support the fact that people now days need more alternatives to animal products. We don't want to support the cruelty animals endure any longer. Bunnies, chicks, cows and animals alike will thank you!

Vegan chocolate is the best thing ever because it's chocolate that doesn't require animal suffer to produce! So, that's an obvious improvement over other chocolates, and chocolate is always delicious.

Vegan chocolate unlike non other! You must come try this compassionate delight, filled with satisfaction and humanity so you have no reason to fill your head with the murderous milk chocolate. Save the animals this easter and choose life over suffering, Vegan chocolate for all!!!!
The easter bunny gives it two thumbs up=)

Vegan chocolate is the bomb! No pain to any animal and there is no by-products from the dairy industry.

No pus, blood, scabs, or hurting the cows!~

Instead of chocolate giving you mood swings, this is a definite pick-up because you know:
NO ANIMALS HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS PRODUCT

Vegan chocolate is the best thing this world has ever seen!

Why?

Because
1. !!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't harm animals !!!!!!!!!!!
2. It doesn't harm humans. (We know where it's coming from and what we are eating.)
3. It's safe for anyone. Even people with Lactose intolerance and celiac(wheat intolerance) can eat it.

Posted by: allison lucier at March 7, 2008 3:59 PM

It's cruelty free, pus free, better for health as it has many anti-oxidant properties. This means that that it can protect the heart and arteries from oxidative damage and boost blood antioxidant levels by up to 20%. Milk chocolate doesn't have these properties- yet people still think it's natural to eat it... So fighting off heart attacks and many diseases while eating something that tastes amazing and is cruelty free- who wants to eat something from someone elses mother- would they drink their friends mothers breast milk? no. What could be better. Vegan chocolate is also cheaper to produce so therefore cheaper to buy, so you can buy more and fufill your chocolate cravings better =].

chocolate is the best but no one can enjoy it when you know it has milk in it that should be in cows nut forced from them. cow are nice. VEGAN chocolate comes guilt free((well almost(but everyone needs to indulge)) and cruelty free

Vegan Chocolate is awesome!!!!
It allows you to enjoy the guilty pleasure of chocolate without all the horrible cruelty. Who could possibly enjoy a piece of chocolate knowing that an adorable animal has suffered for your sweet tooth. Vegan chocolate allows you to indulge your sweet tooth and be sweet to our animal equals.

Vegan chocolate is the best thing this world has ever seen because it really is guilt-free because no animals were harmed for it and it's lower in fat!

Vegan Chocolate is the best thing you have ever seen because it is animal friendly and yummy for your tummy at the same time!! And it akso doesn't have all the gross stuff in it!! Like being pus free!! And it's healthier and not so fattening like real chocolate!! Vegan chocolate stops the cruel process for cows everywhere!! Without vegan chocolate, there would be even more cows being tortured!! I would like to personally thank Harbor Candy Shop for making these yummy treats for PETA, too!! And yessss!! I do get it!! [[The hop to it^_^!!]] Very clever, Ashleigh!! And I'm totally going to send the E-card to all my friends!! So they can but some vegan chocolate for themselves, too!!

I think that vegan chocolate is the best thing since soy beans because everywhere you look there is chocolate, and if you haven't ALWAYS been vegan or vegetarian, then you know how good it is, and how hard it is to stay away from it. With this cruelty-free version of the world's favorite sweet treat, you can enjoy chocolate just like everyone without chocolate allergies can. It's only fair. :]

Posted by: Ashley May at March 7, 2008 6:09 PM

Does the name not say enough? Vegan, Chocolate?

So as a girl, chocolate has ALWAYS been there for me. Throughout break ups, PMS, and other various sad, or frustrating events. [:

And eating vegan food, is just as great. Knowing that you can live off foods that don't come from animals, or an animal doesn't have to suffer, or even you just have healthier food rocks.

So you pull an Emril and go for a "BAM!" And combine both? Woah, woah, someone hit me. [: Haha.. Not really.. But cruelty free, puss-blood-poo-anything-else-from-animals-that's-nasty free, chocolate.. Chocolate! Mm.. God must really love us!

So why is vegan chocolate the best thing? What could EVER be possibly better then a sweet, sugary, bite of heal-your-emotions chocolate that you can eat and actually truely enjoy! No thoughts of 'Oh god, that poor cow that gave her milk..'

If you know that, then please, oh please, do tell.

I think animals deserve to live. Even though I'm only 13, I know what animals are put through. Tortured and killed, just so we can have CHOCOLATE? It's a very unreasonable thing to do. Does the world really need chocolate that bad?I think vegan chocolate is such a smart idea.animals live and you get to enjoy your sweets!Good job Peta.

Wow, I'm so happy to find out this exists. I'm a chocolate lover, but also an animal lover, and it's deplorable to know that Easter encourages people to carelessly mistreat or purchase animals they don't intend to take care.

I'd love to give this a try and spread the word (and the chocolate) to my friends and family.

I think this is great!!!! Animals won't have to suffer for cruel animal food testing, and the chocolate will be healthier too. I think it's a better and you'll have no guilt when your eating it. ^_^

Luv ya all peta2!! And HOPPIN BUNNY!

Ok, Vegan chocolate is good because it is. Chocolate is good for you and just because it's vegan makes it even better! Not only can i keep myself cruelty free but also happy with my chocolate. I'm keeping animals alive and treating my tastebuds all at the same time. What could be better than that?

I think vegan chocolate is the best thing this world has ever seen because it is delicious yet at the same time doesnt support the milk industry. Why make cows suffer through unneccessary pain when we can enjoy chocolate in a cruelty-free way. Cows dont have to suffer and people can still enjoy sweets

how could it not be good?
not only is it healthier than other chocolate, but you dont feel guilty about eating it. at least, you wont feel guilty about it hurting animals. you might feel guilty for all the chocolate you eat though.
