If you don't know Matthew Lush (a.k.a. Gay God), you probably haven't spent all that much time on MySpace or YouTube. He's one of the most popular users on both sites with hundreds of thousands of people checking out his pages every month. And the best part is that Matthew is vegan and dedicated to animal rights.
Check out this fun video he made about the "Top Ten Reasons I Won't Date A Meat-Eater," just in time for Valentine's Day.

but anyway matthew literally changed my entire outlook on life and is probably the main reason i'm vegetarian. i read his VegExpress myspace page, and it really informed me a lot about the benefits of going veg, and made me realize how much better it is for my body and the environment. the funny thing is that i found him on a youtube search i did, and one of his earlier videos of him lip synching. i'm so glad i had no plans that friday night and was bored on the computer, because matthew is just incredible. he's my ultimate rolemodel for so many reasons. i'd love to meet him someday.. but the chances of that are low so i guess i'll just keep watching his stickam. =]
I think Matthew is such a positive influence on so many vegertarians, vegans, and people who want to be one. He's a great rolemodel for everyone, and that's why I respect him. =]

mathew lush is the greatest person ever he is the reason i want veg idk wat i would do or how i would be veg he is my insperation and if i could meet any one here on earth it would be him 4 sure ily matthew lush

Matthew might have some good stuff going for him but when he calls himself Gay God you tend to lose a lot of people. Peta tends to focus on people on the fringe. Let's see the mom who changed her kids to vegitarians and their allergies went away. Let's hear the guy next store stories. The message may be good, but when the mouthpiece doesn't speak to the mainstream, it's a losing battle.

I personally love Matthew and the fact that he's a vegetarian. I first saw this on his MySpace, and thought it was awesome that he's so dedicated to being vegan, that he won't even date a meat-eater. He's truly amazing and a positive influence.
