Music peta2 vegetarian Shadows Fall Brain Fair
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Shadows Fall frontman, Brian Fair, is my absolute favorite dreadlock wielding, vegetarian, main man of metal. One might erroneously think it's the hair that wins me over, but oh no, kiddies, oh no. It's statements like this from Brian that make me smile: "I became a vegetarian many years ago after listening to The Smiths' 'Meat Is Murder.' It opened my eyes to the painful lives of animals raised for food and I knew I wanted no part of that." See, now doesn't that make you smile so big your freakin' face hurts?!
Our dear friend, Brian, was more than eager to participate in our series of vegetarian ads and his is so special you can find it gracing the pages of December's issue of Decibel magazine, which hits stands today. Shadows Fall is amazing. I didn't know Brian Fair was a vegetarian. That is awesome! I saw them live a few years back when they were with Slipknot on the Sub. Verses Tour, they're better live, IMO, but then again most bands are.
And y'know, of course is hair totally pwns my hair by like a million. That's okay, though.

Posted by: Skyler at November 17, 2007 4:13 PMI met this guy the other day when i was at work. He lives in a condo complex taking care of his grandmother and i went inside to fix his electrical. Very nice guy i was very impressed with him in the few times I talked with him.

I'm liking that even the metalheads can be vegetarian and brutal at the same time. People like the Amott brothers and Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy (melodic death metal), Rob Zombie, and even members of Lamb of God (thrash metal) are in some way shape or form vegetarian. And remember kids, being brutal DOES NOT mean towards animals!!!! \m/
