bebe Stops Buying Fur but Keeps Selling It November 13, 2007

I WILL NOT BE STOPING BY AT BEBE UNTIL THEY STOP SELLING BUNNY'S FUR, AND I LOVE THE STORE.

I am glad they have pledged to go fur-free. but I agree, they should pull those items frome their shelves as well. But I guess it was a start.

i luv bebe, but i luv animals more and i will not buy their items while their still selling it.

It's horrible that they keep selling it after they said they wouldn't. This makes me very angry, because bunnies or any other animal shouldn't suffer at all. I will definitely not buy from bebe and I will also tell my friends to stop buying from them as well.

This is such a mixed situation. While I am please to hear they have pledged to discontinue purchasing fur, it is disappointing to know they will not cut the losses and pull fur from their current merchandise. I truly wish they would go fur free completely. They have such cute clothes!

That's good, other stores should go fur-free as well.

I am glad that bebe is taking a step in the right direction, but if they are selling fur then they are still taking part in the killing of animals and i refuse to be a part of that.

Bebe needs to be ashamed of themselves. I will not be buying anymore of their clothing. Once I found out what their were doing I immediately stopped buying their products. Anyone who condones or wears FUR is a FUR hag and doesn't feel comfortable in their own skin.

PS. if you have fur jackets and choose to get rid of them call the United Humane Society they will take those furs and give them to baby animals whose parents have been victim o the fur trade.

I have bought many items of clothing from BEBE in the past,and would have NEVER if I would have known about this. They should be ashamed and as some one else has mentioned previously, they need to made into coats them selves. What a dispicable practice.

Bebe is the only place I used to shop, until I bought a jacket online, that did not state that it had Rabbit Fur in it. I wrote them an e-mail very upset and they never got back to me. Now I have this 200 dollar jacket and I can not return it because I misplaced the receipt. I am so angry and I will NOT be shopping there again, until they are 100% FUR FREE!!!!!!!!

I have been a model for a while and I will never model for companies that sell fur. It is such a horrible thing that BeBe and many other companies are doing! I have never bought and never will buy fur!!!

Cut the Vanity, BeBe! There is no reason to kill innocent animals in order to satisfy your superficial costumers. If fake fur is just as real looking, why not use that? Honestly, if that were your rabbit, would you like someone to take him/her from your home and do all those horrific things to him/her? I don't think so, you'd love that animal and would want to protect it. So what's the difference here? It's not yours? Who cares. It's still an animal getting tourchered for fashion. Rediculous.

I can't believe they are still selling fur when they obviously know its wrong to take the lives of innocent animals just to steel their beauty! Its not okay to act like its fine if you wear animals.
