Cutest Contest Ever! September 21, 2007
Posted by Lara Sanders | Permalink | Comments ( 26 ) | TrackBack
Soychick has changed my life. I never thought anyone could be cuter than our own peta2 "Nugget", but Soychick definitely gives him some good competition. Check out the Soychick characters to the right, and you will see what I mean.
Soychick's motto is, "Making a difference—one vegan at a time", and we agree that providing the masses with unbelievably adorable tees, totes, and buttons is one of the best ways to promote the cause!
Not only have I provided you with this life-altering info, but I am also going to let you in on a secret…we are giving away a Soychick Soy Wonder tee and tote to the person that leaves the best comment below!
Contest ends October 11, 2007, and winners will be notified by October 18, 2007.
Just so you know...by giving us your details here, we're taking that as acknowledgment that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy.
Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Good luck (I am jealous)!

Soychick and Nugget make such a good team!
Posted by: david at September 21, 2007 7:42 PMHey thats pretty amazing! I love telling people that I am a vegetarian, Its awesome and gives me something to look forward to!
Posted by: Lyndsey Bosold at September 21, 2007 8:45 PMOh my gawsh, these soychicks are definetly fierce competion for the peta2 nugget..in the end it really doesn't matter because awareness is being spread also. I could just imagine that soychick flashing its beady little eyes at me, and hypnotising me to fulfill its dream to convert everyone one to a vegan. I just want to shake it and pet it, cause it is so dang cute!!! But I am afraid I might give it some sort of sbs a.k.a shaken baby syndrome, or shaken soychick syndrome.
If i get that tote or shirt, I am gonna strut those babies everywhere, and flash them in everybody's faces, paralyzing them with soy chick's adorableness. Is it just me, or does the soychicks look like they belong in the cast of South Park? Hahaha i can just imagine the jamaican soy chick flipping its hair in slo-mo and speaking in a low non chalant voice,"Come to the land of soychicks, and we will make you go vegan.."
APPLE JUICE. =D
I vote that there is a sexy game with Soychick and Nugget. That would own my life more than peanut butter.
And that's honestly a lot of own-age.
Posted by: Brittani at September 21, 2007 11:59 PMwow, thats great!! SoyChick seems like great company. I was looking at all of their products, and they're all so cute! Thanks for telling us all about this terrific company, peta2! they rock! (and so do you, of course!)

Posted by: kelsey at September 22, 2007 1:21 PMWow with that top the boys (and chickens) will be all over me!! :) How much stylish can one vegan get? Love it!
Posted by: Stephanie at September 22, 2007 3:29 PMi adore soychick!!! their stuff is soooo cute! if i had any moola, i would definitely purchase a shirt or a tote or something.
Posted by: MissYvonne at September 22, 2007 8:01 PMNot only is soychick the most adorable creature in the world, but she also carries a positive and significant message! I'm vegan so I understand why veganism is so important in this world. I am definitely going to show all my friends soychick!
Posted by: Saraace at September 23, 2007 10:53 AMI think soychick is an aweseome way to promote awareness!
The different looks of soychick will attract different kinds of people and the cuteness of it will definently top them off.
Also, the shirts, tees, and totes are the perfect finishing touch! =]
yes they are soy-aliouscus lol
they soo cute.
lol well ya this is a great idea! I've never heard of soychick before, but i've sen and helped out i loads of "i'm not a nugget" campaign stuff, and soychick lots the same. Great idea to raise AR awareness! I think Nugget does beat soychick though lol, but again, they both are great ideas!
Posted by: I'm VEGAN =+) at September 23, 2007 5:09 PMomg!
i love soy chick!
it's adorable!
=]
Soychick is by far one of the most adorable little things that I've ever seen. Who could eat a thing like that? She's a great way to spread the awareness. I wish I had money because I would love to buy a shirt from the website. It's amazing to me how much one vegan or vegetarian can to do to help save animals from horrible cruelties that await it. It's really cool that they're making these shirts.
Posted by: Emma Kennedy at September 23, 2007 7:27 PMWow, just think if i never thought about animal rights and acting against animal cruelty, i would never have come across soychick's amazingly cutee products!
Posted by: Theresa at September 24, 2007 12:00 AMI think the huge increase in vegetarians and vegans just because of this site alone is amazing, especially the merch that people can wear to make other people interested and the next thing you know that's another person turned vegetarian/vegan and another person for animal rights. I found out the truth from peta2 and i'm so grateful, i'd love to wear your merch around to show that I am a dedicated vegan and i'm taking part in a lot of projects that can change so much with so little. All of the ideas for these projects of course came from this site and i'm going to change as much as possible.
For example; our cafeteria has gelatin and mainly animal based products so i can't eat there and my other friends are manily vegeatrian and they find it hard as well, if i can change the principal's mind to slightly alter the menu so it fits certain needs at all lunch times, i know for sure people will be grateful.
Also the menu as of now does have a lot of junk food and it's just not good so in saying this I will not give up on trying to make a difference, and vegan was really a good way to start for me.
tofu is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: zoe at September 24, 2007 12:04 PMaw, they are so cute!!!
im vegetarian for a long time now..but my mom wont let me go vegan! ugh!
go animal rights!
Those soychicks are so freaking cute! I seriously think somebody needs to develop an application where you can customize a soychick to look like you so we can post our own soychicks on our myspaces, facebooks, blogs, etc. But, since there aren't..I'm just going to post these badboys everywhere!!! Go vegans!!
Posted by: at September 26, 2007 11:41 AMWell, com'on... October 11th is my birthday. No, not some cheap ploy... It's true. October 11th will make me 17. Which is pretty rad. But... A SoyChick tee would make it rad-er. XD
Posted by: Alicia at September 26, 2007 12:49 PM"Look up in the sky!"(Pointing at the streak of golden wonder speeding past the clouds.)
"...What IS THAT?!?!"
"It's a bird!"
"Naw, it's clearly flying tofu."
"No, it's a plane!"
"Wait... it's Superman!"
...
No... it's EVEN BETTER than Superman...
IT'S SOYCHICK!!!!
(I guess the first guy was right, it is a bird.)
Soychick is here to save all her family and friends from an unfair life of crulty. A true heroine to us all. Join soychick in her fight for LIFE! Go vegan!

I've always wanted to be a vegan ever since i new what meat was, being an animal lover always made me hate eating meat, but my mom wouldnt let me, 2 weeks ago i finally put my foot down. I am now a happy vegan and am so glad i found Peta2. I love all vegan animal logos and these are really adorable. If i ever got ahold of these items i would wear them until all my friends and classmates stop eating meat, being the only on in highschool being vegan, i need all the help i can get. Even if i dont get the bag and shirt, im just so pleased being vegan now, and am glad that someone else will use them wisely, changing peoples eating habbits. Thanks for all you do Peta2!! You rule =]
Posted by: Kelsey :] at October 7, 2007 5:14 PMI LOVE being a vegetarian. I think its so empowering, that I can save the lives of innocent fellow beings by making the good (and ultimately right) choices. I never want to steal something as precious as life from an animal, or from anything as a matter of fact. My body will never be a tomb for god's beautiful creations. I
