Skeletons and Human Glue Traps? June 7, 2007

I sometimes get very jealous when I see all the various PETA demonstration pictures from all over the world. The protests are always eye-catching and thought-provoking, and I wish I were there protesting right alongside everyone else. I've participated in my fair share of protests when I interned, but since I'm lucky enough to work with quite a creative group of people, we always have new demonstrations to make people stop and take notice.

Check out a few photos that appeared in a Hong Kong newspaper a few weeks ago after an "I'd Rather Be Dead Than Eat Kentucky Fried Cruelty" protest:

And here's a couple of photos from another demonstration a few weeks ago in Atlanta to put pressure on The Home Depot to stop selling glue traps—which can cause mice, birds, and other animals to suffer for days before they're killed:

Wish you could get in on the fun and maybe change a few minds along the way? You most certainly can! Check out this page to find out how to organize your own Kentucky Fried Cruelty demo. Don't forget to send us your demo pictures, so I can be jealous of you, too.

i made my mother buy mice cubes for her house instead of traps that kill mice so now instead of her dumping dead mice in the garbage she releases live mice into their natural habitats.
