Casey Affleck's Vegan PSA Softened for TV June 8, 2007

Casey Affleck's been making the rounds this week in support of his new flick, the soon-to-be-summer blockbuster Ocean's 13. Everyone's talking about it and I'm thrilled that Casey is part of such a highly anticipated movie because he's such a great actor—he was without a doubt the best part of The Last Kiss as far as I'm concerned—and a die hard activist too. You may recall that Casey recorded a vegan PSA for peta2 a few months ago that was banned by all of the networks—including cable! Casey was determined to get his message about the way animals are treated by the factory farming industry to as many people as possible so we created a less graphic version of the PSA in hopes that the networks would air it. We're happy to report that it is being picked up by stations around the country. Yay! It's nice that every once in a while the powers that be will actually let the public see and hear the truth for themselves, ain't it? Check out the toned down version of Casey's "Go Vegan" PSA and support this marvelous vegan's hard work by seeing Ocean's 13. It opens today and the lines are sure to be long for this one so plan ahead...Fandango anyone?
