The Idyllists recently got in contact with us, and asked if we could send them some peta2 lit to put on their merch table. This was very exciting news for peta2, as NME called them, "The greatest musical human beings to ever walk the planet". So needless to say, we sent the merch out like that.

The Idyllists have been called a modern day Smiths, and we can see why. Not only is their music amazing, their vocalist, Ian, is also a strict vegetarian like Morrissey. Check out what Ian had to say about his veg ways below...

Lara Sanders: When did you first hear about peta2?

Ian: I heard about peta2 through researching the web.

LS: Do you have any favorite vegetarian foods?
Ian: Indian food and anything with good flavors/spices. I like to cook basic vegetarian dishes- veggies steamed, with curry or Thai sauce.

LS: Do you have any favorite cities to visit while on tour, because of the good veg food?
Ian: Seattle is great! Also NYC. Any big city with a large ethnic population helps in finding good food with great flavor.

LS: What advice would you give someone who was thinking about going vegetarian, but thinks that it is just too hard?
Ian: It's really not hard. There are many fake meat products out there.

You sold me, now check them out for yourself.

xoxo-Lara
