Can You Taste the Chaos?! April 16, 2007

Greetings!
This is Ryan, peta2's official road warrior, here to give you a run-down from the Taste of Chaos Tour 2007! Our main focus for the show was urging concertgoers to sign our petition against über-bastards KFC, for cutting baby birds beaks off and scalding chickens to death. 2 months, 20,000 miles, and 58,000 signatures later, we wrapped it up in Canada. Did we hit your town?
Those who have seen us before know that we always pull out all the stops when tabling. We were fortunate enough to have 2 amazing Street Teamers help us get sign-ups each night. Go Street Team go!
We didn’t stop there, though. Everybody knows that shows are more fun to go to with friends. That’s why we brought out the big guns and had our friends Cove (lead singer of Saosin), and Craig (lead singer of Chiodos) (both of whom stopped eating animals on this tour) stop by the table and say hi! Can we say Sexiest Vegetarians Alive?
Even 30 Seconds to Mars frontman (and fellow vegetarian) Jared Leto even got into the action by signing autographs in front of one of our anti-KFC banners!
It goes without saying that the tour was a massive success. Thousands of kids took our free DVDs and literature to show their friends, and we discussed the issues with everyone who approached the table. Everyone likes free stuff!

Funny you should ask. We actually did an interview with Jeph on Taste of Chaos about his vegetarianism for the peta2 column in Chord Magazine. Make sure to pick up their next issue for the whole conversation!

does anybody know if Jeph & Quinn from The Used are still vegetarians? They used (haha, pun intended!) to do tons of stuff for peta2, but I haven't heard anything in a while
