Farewell Anna Nicole Smith February 9, 2007

I'm sure by now you've all heard about the untimely and tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith. She was always there when the animals needed her help. No matter where she went or what she did she was always in the news, and unlike a lot of people, Anna Nicole was more than happy to share her spotlight with PETA to help expose and fight cruelty to animals. From speaking out against Iams for testing on animals, to letting fur wearing celebs know what she thought about them, to speaking out against the Canadian seal hunt, Anna Nicole was always ready to lend a helping hand. All we had to do was call. Anna Nicole even went vegetarian after learning the truth about what happens to animals on factory farms and in slaughterhouses.

No doubt many people will choose to remember Anna Nicole for the troubles and scandals that haunted her, but to me she will always be the blonde goddess with a heart of gold, the embodiment of the modern day Marilyn, as she was when she appeared in one of my all time favorite PETA ads.

We'll miss you dear friend.

This is so sad, and i was nearly in tears when i heard the news while watching trl yesterday. i remember a thousand names running through my head, but when they said hers, i was in complete and utter shock. i never would have thought of her dying so young, but life, and death, are so unpredictable like that. i'm still in shock....i really just cant believe she's gone. she was a really great person, and she will be missed. i even found myself saying a prayer for her and her family last night before i went to bed. may she rest in peace.

That is so wonderful! Not her death, her loyalty to animals. I am so shocked she died.People and animals die everyday, though. Even though I didn't know much about her, it's still sad. R.I.P Anna Nicole Smith.

I can't believe she's gone. I used not like her because I was influenced by the these dipshits in believing she was some gold digging whore until now when I recently heard what an animal hero she was, then I felt differently about her. I hate that people in general always have to prejudge people like anna before getting to know about them!!And Rosie O' Donelle who dissed or was talking trash about her needs to shut her big, fat, overbearing, lousy, obnoxious, barbaric ass mouth she doesn't even know diddly SQUAT about her, and I'm also mad at the overbearing psychotic bitch in the view show for having an issue with Donald Trumph giving Ms. USA a second chance, wtf is the big fuckin deal? the chick nearly turned 21 at the time and worked her damn hardest to become the best beauty pageant ever!!!!! How dare Rosie talk trash about her and Anna especially!!! Man do I feel sorry for her, she sounds like she really IS that ignorant!!!! I'll have to pray sometime that Rosie changes her nasty attitude!!! I feel so amazed how a then small town chic was able to chase her big ambitions.People like Anna and Marilyn, regardless of scandals and other issues, were other than the most luckiest chics ever. I may have envy them a little because they were able to chase their dream, but I don't go crazy and talk smack about stars just because I get a tad jealous since I trust in my own talents and besides that's not exactly exemplifying humanity, unlike the biggest bitch from the View show.

Rest In Peace.
I used to think that she was just a stoner that had no impact, but then i heard all of these things that she has done and how great of a person she was. Everyone has their demons, I just think that no one gave her a chance to deal with them. After her son died, I felt so bad for her because a) her son, her world, had died right in her room b) she was being sued right after this. All of her career, she was attacked by the media and random people that didn't even know her. Even in her death, people don't have the respect to say "this woman that did a lot without many people knowing is dead" instead they say "wow, she died. i wonder who she slept with in the past couple of years?" and "she must have been on a lot of drugs." A radio station even flat out said "Anna Nicole Smith passed out at ther hotel room. Guess she couldn't hold her drugs. Here's someone who could" and played a Bob Marley song then came back and said "oh, I guess she died. that sucks."

Rest In Peace, Anna Nicole Smith. I hope you're in a happier place with your son.
