Everyone Watch 'Nick News' This Sunday February 2, 2007

This Sunday on Nickelodeon, Nick News will be featuring peta2 Star Street Teamer Blake Wilson in a special called "Rebels With a Cause." Nickelodeon's camera crew recently followed Blake for a day, including a protest against Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus that he led with the help of nearly 50 other activists from the Chicago area. The campaign against the circus is particularly important in Chicago since the city council is currently considering banning the cruel use of sharp metal bullhooks which are used to beat elephants by circus trainers.
The Nick News special will air on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. (7:30 for those of you in the central timezone). Now, I know that this will overlap with the second half of the Super Bowl, but come on, this is way more important people! (Hopefully the Bears will be killing the Colts by 8:30 anyway.) After all, how often is it that peta2—or anything about animal rights for that matter—is on Nickelodeon?! So, no excuses ... everyone tune in to Nickelodeon on Sunday night and watch Blake kick ass and take names.

Yes! I'm watching it right now. It's so awesome, because so many people watch Nickelodeon! =] "Rebels With A Cause"... hmm.. sounds appropriate!
