Here's some video from last week's protest outside of POM's headquarters in L.A. For those of you who haven't heard yet, POM—the company known for its pomegranate juice and teas—tests on animals in order to make health claims. In one of POM's ridiculous experiments, pregnant mice were fed POM juice, and their week-old babies were locked in a chamber with almost no oxygen for 45 minutes, causing severe brain damage; the babies were then killed so that experimenters could dissect their brains. In another experiment, rabbits were fed POM and had their arteries severed to study erectile dysfunction. All of this just so POM can claim that its pomegranates have magical healing powers ...

I find it myself, that what you are doing is the worst thing you could ever do. It's the exact thing as killing a human being. We are all living, breathing things and i will not stand for anymore of this non-sense.From this point on, i will tell everyone I see, meet, and greet what you are doing to those poor animals that dont deserve it.

HOW IN THE WORLD COULD YOU HURT SOMETHING SO INNOCENT? ANIMALS HAVE DIFFERENT DNA AND DIFFERENT WAYS OF REACTING TO SUBSTANCES THAN HUMANS DO. YOU BURN THEIR EYES OUT, CUT THEM OPEN, AND MAKE THEM SUFFER...BUT WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT TO A HUMAN? IT IS NOT RIGHT TO TORTURE ANIMALS FOR YOUR SAKE. THEY HAVE FEELINGS TO, THEY BREATHE AND HAVE A FAMILY JUST LIKE YOU! THEY EAT AND COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS, THEY PLAY, ETC. TO HARM A CREATURE THAT CAN'T EVEN PROTECT ITSELF IS INSANE. POM MUST BE OUT OF ITS MIND! THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES TO USING ANIMALS FOR TESTING. BUT PLEASE THINK AGAIN OF THIS AS YOU HOLD A LITTLE "TEST RAT" AND THINK, "MAYBE MURDERIG THIS PIECE OF GOD'S CREATION IS WRONG...IT HAS A LIFE AND A FAMILY TO CARE FOR..." BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO THINK ON THIS!

HOW DARE THEY!!!!!!! how could they be so heartless! this is wrong and cruel. poor little mice and rabbits and whatever else they test on! we had a bottle of POM in the fridge i threw it out immediately! gross.........how could they??
