KFC 'Funny Money' November 14, 2006

The folks at KFC seem to care about nothing but making a profit—even if it means torturing animals. They see the more than 850 million chickens killed for their restaurants each year as nothing more than dollar signs with feathers. Since KFC doesn't get that animals don't deserve to be abused for their disgusting, greasy food, we figured it was time we start speaking in their language: Money.

To help get the word out that KFC is cruel, we designed these leaflets designed to look just like dollar bills at first glance. When you look closer, however, you'll see that the bills are covered with facts about what happens to chickens before they end up as corpses in KFC's buckets.

When we went to actually print the leaflets, though, we ran into a bit of a snafu. Apparently there are really strict rules regulating printing fake money, and in order to meet the legal requirements to have them printed, we would have had to significantly change the leaflets and make it so that they didn't look like dollar bills. :( Stupid counterfeiters ... ruining things for everyone! I didn't want the wonderful work our designers did to go to waste, though. So there they are; enjoy them. Pass around the pictures to your friends who still eat KFC, then maybe I won't be so sad about the whole debacle.

Curse you U.S. Department of Treasury!
