Eat Tofurky or Die Trying! November 8, 2006

Since I first became vegetarian, the number of options available to all of us meat-free folks has become a whole lot better, and I see Tofurky as the ultimate embodiment of this fact. Pretty much every vegetarian has at one point or another had to deal with the "family of meat-eaters being difficult at the holidays" thing. Thanks to the folks at Turtle Island Foods, you don't have to miss out. Seriously, Tofurky is arguably the best food that has ever entered my mouth since birth. (I have, on occasion, eaten an entire Tofurky roast in one sitting.) It's so good in fact that you can probably even convince your mom and pop, or at the very least your little brother, to try some and spare a turkey's life.

There's a point to all of this I swear ... two points as a matter of fact! For the fourth year in a row, peta2 is going to air ship Tofurkys to five lucky people.
