Send Some Crackers to PetSmart August 25, 2006

If you haven't seen it yet, click here to check out the latest peta2 Street Team mission. As part of the campaign to convince PetSmart to stop sentencing birds to unnatural lives in cages, we're asking people to send crackers to PetSmart CEO Phil Francis (hold on it'll make sense in a minute) to encourage him to stop selling birds in PetSmart stores. We don't want you to just send crackers, of course - you should also include a note saying something like "You can keep the crackers, Polly wants his freedom!" Otherwise, he's just going to be confused.
Here are two of the letters that have been sent in so far. I like how the second person sent like 5,000 crackers.
You can usually grab a pack of crackers for free at, like, a salad bar or grocery store if you're too cheap to buy them. Send your crackers to:
Philip L. Francis, CEO
PetSmart, Inc.
19601 N. 27th Ave.
Phoenix, AZ 85027
Don't forget to snap a photo of your crackers and letter before you mail it off and send it to us at StreetTeam@peta2.com.
