After giving peta2 a shoutout last night, Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio dedicated a song to us during their encore which he renamed “My Friend PETA”. It was cute. Check them out on tour with Rufio now, and say hello to Matt’s PETA friends Pulin and Jason. They both really like getting hugs from vegans.
The Only Children’s Casey Prestwood
If you haven’t heard, Hot Rod Circuit’s Casey Prestwood has a hip new band called The Only Children. We found out through the grapevine that Casey has been veg for about as long as HRC as been together, so we asked him to talk to us about what made him stop eating meat and to give some advice for fans. Casey says that “even growing up, if I was eating a hamburger and I thought about actually eating an animal, I would get really sick to my stomach.” Read Casey’s interview for his favorite veg restaurants and some other stuff, and check out theonlychildren.com for some rock music.
Go see Land of the Dead this weekend. I just saw it and it was really bloody and awesome. Zombies are sorta vegan, right?
