Let J. Lo and Her Fans Know That Fur is Murder March 2, 2005

J. Lo’s new fur-laden fashion line premiered just weeks after investigators on Chinese fur farms wrapped a year of documenting horrific abuses there, including fur farmers swinging raccoon dogs and foxes by their hind legs and smashing their heads into the ground—breaking the animals’ necks or backs but leaving them fully conscious, panting and blinking as they are skinned alive.

Jennifer Lopez may be able to get the images of bloody, skinned foxes still breathing after being tossed on ‘dead piles’ out of her head, but we doubt her fans will. PETA has developed a Web site to inform J. Lo fans and critics alike at JLoDown.com, and we want all of you to help spread the word that she supports an industry which tortures hundreds of millions of animals each year.

Sounds like a place for all of you to voice your disgust over Jennifer’s support of the fur industry, don’t you think? We do too. Please be polite and stick to the point that there’s no excuse for J. Lo to continue to support the cruel, bloody fur industry. Be sure to include a link to JLoDown.com in your post.
